FAQ
What do I need to bring with me when I drop my pet off?
We require an up-to-date vaccination record, provided and labelled medication, and if your pet has any allergies or is on a specific diet you must bring their own food. You are welcome to bring a favourite toy or blanket with them, though this is not a requirement.
When will I have to pay for my pets stay?
You can pay either when you drop-off or collect your pet, whichever suits you best. We accept payment via debit card, cash or cheque.
My dog doesn’t like other dogs, will you still board them?
Yes, we will accept reactive dogs. As long as your dog doesn’t show any aggression towards staff, we have the facilities to keep them. If your dog gets very anxious around other dogs, we do have an isolation area away from our other boarders and can hold them there if we feel it is required.
Will you accept my pet if she is in season?
Yes we will accept pets in heat, and we will ensure that they are only walked with female dogs or neutered males.
Will my pet be allowed to mix with others?
If your dog is friendly with others and not too boisterous or rough with them, yes, they will be walked with another dog with a compatible personality. Cats are never allowed to mix.
Do I need to provide my own lead?
No, we walk all dogs on our own extendable leads and slip collars. However, if your dog requires a harness for medical reasons, you must provide it.
I feed my dog raw food, will this be a problem?
No, we have several boarders who are fed raw and we are happy to continue their raw diet so long as you provide their food. We have access to a large freezer so can hold however much is supplied for their stay.
Is there a limit to the length of stay my pet can be boarded for?
No, we will happily keep your pet for however long you need. In certain cases, and depending on the length of the stay, you may be asked for an up-front payment. This will be discussed at time of booking.
My pet is on medication, will you provide it?
No, we do not provide any medication; you must take it with you when you drop your pet off. During a long stay, if the medication runs out, we can collect more from your vet at an extra charge.
Do you charge for administering medication?
Generally, no, we do not charge for medication. However, if your pet is Diabetic and requires Insulin injections then it will be a £10 charge per day.
